Staybridge International Academy

Staybridge International Academy (SBIA) has been operating since inception in September 2010 as "Peculiar People International Schools (PPIS)".
On the 9th of July 2019, Peculiar People International Schools(PPIS) was purposefully changed to "Staybridge International Academy (SBIA)".
Hence, Staybridge International Academy (SBIA) hereby superceedes Peculiar People International Schools (PPIS).

To raise generations of students with the right tools, skills, knowledge, moral and mental abilities to excel in life and contribute positively to the development of mankind.

To achieve the above vision, Staybridge International Academy (SBIA) intends to embark on the following mission:

*Expose and guide students towards appropriate career selection.

The Man Behind the Vision

Sometime in the past, Bishop Dr. Goddy Okafor, a doctorate degree holder in theology, encountered a bridge (vision) hanging in the atmosphere. His zeal and enterpreneural prowess got piqued and navigated him to the point of obsession with the bridge (vision) such that he could not withhold it from his beautiful heartthrob, Rev. Mrs. Patience Okafor. Both couple queued in to give the bridge (vision) requisite solid foundation.
To make the bridge (vision) stay, the couple synergistically served as strong pillars, with the husband Bishop Dr. Goddy Okafor, at one end of the pillars and the wife, Rev. Mrs. Patience Okafor at the other end, both providing needed reinforcement.
This collaborative pillar support gave rise to what we have today as Staybridge.

Staybridge International Academy(SBIA) formerly known as Peculiar People International Schools (PPIS) is therefore an outcome of a big vision. The vision and philosophy of Staybridge emphasise "Passion for Excellence".
Our entire processes, operations and attitude are subject to continious structural and systematic improvements with due regards to our belief that, "Excellence is not Wishful Thinking but Hardwork."

We are deligent and unyielding in our devotion to discipline and qualitative behaviour. Suffice it to say that our vision is structured systematically,standardized and continiously sanitized with the framework of our institutional culture.

Achievements

Staybridge International Academy (SBIA) has been achieving academic excellence in students' and pupils' performances in external examinations such as:
*Primary School Leaving Assessment Test (PSLAT)
*Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE)
*West African Secondary School Certificate Examination (WASSCE)

Sports / Actvities

With the importance of excercise and physical fitness borne in mind, Our students and pupils are exposed to a wide range of sporting activities such as:
*Table Tennis.
*Basketball.
*Football.

Also, to encourage social activities, Students are encouraged to belong to different social clubs in schools. The clubs include:
*Press Club.
*Debate Club.
*Jet Club.
*Drama Club.
*Choral Club.
